Read My Thoughts…

By now, most of you know how much I love poses. I can get so excited when I see a pose and immediately know what to do with it. That’s what happened when I saw this pose from !Bang Poses. It’s called ‘Read my thoughts’ and can be found at this round of TMD. I thought the name was rather perfect, so I used it for my blogpost as well.

Also, I’m in LOVE with this new hair from Truth. It is exactly how I would love to wear my hair in RL, but I never quite succeed in styling it that way (read: my hair has a will of its own). It’s called Effie and can be found at Truth’s mainstore. I’m wearing Belleza’s skin, Beth. She’s out now at the mainstore, a full release. I’ve been wearing her around the grid for a while now. I totally love this face. But then again, I always like Belleza’s skins.

Between the pages of a book…

They say it’s springtime… But when I look out my window, spring is nowhere to be found. So I created it myself! Kind of…

I’ve been wanting to use this pose for quite some time. It’s from Bauhaus Movement and I just love how it tells a story all on its own. I know it was out at the previous round of Shiny Shabby, but I couldn’t resist using it. And when I saw this beautiful recycled bed from Kalopsia, my picture idea was born. The bed comes in three different colors for the sheets and I just love the open drawer. Such a fun little detail.

The end of times…

Something completely different from me today. I wanted to challenge myself into doing a look I’ve never done before and I can honestly say that I had a lot of fun creating this. I’ll let you guys decide if it works though…

So Secret Affair is coming to an end. It will close on the 31st and if you wanna get your last apocalyptic goodies from there, you have to be quick! Empyrean Forge has this gorgeous jewelry set out there. I’ve actually been pairing it with my regular casual outfits, which it fits perfectly with. But I kinda liked how it looked with this outfit as well… I’m wearing FDD’s complete outfit, also out at Secret Affair, and I paired it with hair from Tableau Vivant. The hairbase came with Belleza’s new Jia skin, out at Uber. I will use Jia again for pics, because I decided to use The Skinnery’s face paint. You can’t really see how beautiful the make up on the skin is because of that. (Sorry!)

Also, this pose is from Bang Poses and can be found at TMD. It’s called ‘Next to you’. I was actually using this in a completely different and more romantic scene, but I really liked how I could use it with this theme as well. Cafe Happy: Our happy place…

So I’m finally done with moving. I had to skip a full week in SL to unpack and settle in. Which would normally be ok, but with all the events opening up in the first week of March I’m already way behind. But I’m gonna do my best to get as many posts out as possible in the upcoming weeks.

First of, I wanna start with this gacha set from Sari-Sari. Being a big fan of their store, it’s always nice to see what new things they come up with. This Cafe Happy gacha is out at The Arcade and is as always super fun and very detailed. Seriously, the bread looks eatable! And don’t even get me started about the coffee. There are 21 items to win and 3 Rares, being the Cafe, the Chalkboard ladder and the Bread Cart. This is a super fun set to complete and put on your sim! I made a little collage of the separate items so it’s easier to see how they look. I also added the vendor add at the bottom. Go see for yourself how much fun this set is!

Kissed by a rose…

I guess it’s pretty obvious I was inspired by roses today… With Valentine’s Day coming up, I felt like my blog could use some romantic elements. And let’s be honest… Nothing beats a beautiful bouquet of red roses! Okay, chocolates are very nice too.

But the main reason for this post is to show of Belleza’s new Celeste skin, which is out now at Uber. I already used her for my previous blogpost, but I felt she should have a close up as well. Celeste comes in Pale, Medium and Sunkissed tones and there are 10 different make-ups to be had. The skins all fit the Celestial theme of this month’s round, really well. Be sure to check out Celeste. She’s very beautiful!

(After finishing this collage, I realized I used the wrong brow color in one of the close ups! Oops!)

Also, a new round of Enchantment has begun on the 1st. The theme is ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Some people might disagree with me, but I really like how Enchantment makes you visit every designer’s store. I noticed that I bought from some of the designers before, but that I had never actually been to their store. This pretty necklace is from May’s Soul and is one of the prizes you can get with a full stampcard. For more information about this event, check out the website here.

Let’s watch the last snow fall…

When Christmas is over and the new year has begun, winter must turn into spring if you ask me. So when I woke up this weekend and I found (a lot of) fresh snow in my garden, I was not too happy. It’s pretty and everything, but I’m so done with feeling cold all the time! That’s why I thought it would be the perfect time to take my last winter picture… And watch the last snow fall.

Uber opened its doors yesterday. They changed the opening date from the last of the month to the 25th of each month. The theme for this round is ‘Celestial’ and there are a lot of amazing items out there. One of them is this pretty hair from Truth. I love this little starry clip, which is an add-on for the ‘Esther’ hair.

The Seasons Story is coming to an end. Only a few days left to get your items. One of the things you can find there is this amazing and cute ‘Blanket Fort’ gacha set from Sari-Sari. When I saw the add on Flickr, I knew I wanted to have it. But I only just got around to buying it this week. And I’m so happy I did! Definitely worth your lindens!
I added a few cute gacha items from HAIKEI, placed these amazing lamps from Schadenfreude in the tent and put a cat on the sofa behind us. I thought this was a perfect farewell winter moment. Now let’s hope it will stop snowing already!

There’s nothing better than a great friend…

…unless it’s a great friend with wine! ♥

So many new events opened up in January! I’m still enjoying the last days of my vacation, so I had some time left for some shopping.
I’m completely in love with this bed by Trompe Loeil. It’s so romantic and the bed with the lights is so beautiful. It comes in a lit and an unlit version and it has multiple drape versions too. You can find this bed at Fameshed, which opened up on the first of this month. The beautiful Vanity Table and Stool is by [PM]PixelMode and I thought it would match perfectly with the scene I had in mind. You can find both at Uber along with these beautiful wine bottles and glasses set by Kunst. Us ladies know what to do with a good bottle of wine (or two)… Also, the super cute shelf behind me is by ATTIC and can be found at OneWord.

Liv (the blond) is wearing the new Maitreya body, ‘Lara’. She also bought a lingerie applier from Zaara especially for the Maitreya body. I’m wearing the Belleza Venus body with the new set from Eudora which can be found at Uber. It’s a gorgeous corset which comes with a skirt and a top. The details on them are, like always, so beautiful.
We’re both wearing a new hair release from Truth. It’s actually the same hair, Harmony, but it comes in a bun and a ponytail version. You can find that release at Truth’s mainstore.

Breathing in snowflakes…

Hi all!

Meet Eva. Belleza’s gorgeous new skin. She will be available at Uber’s new round, which will open up in a few days. The theme of Uber’s upcoming round will be ‘Vogue’. Now, I know you can’t see much Vogue in my picture, but I’m usually one who stays safe when it comes to make up. But as you can see below, Eva comes in a lot of different make ups for everyone’s taste! She comes in the pale and medium skintone. I’m wearing the pale one. There are 8 make ups and like always you can add blushes and match it with either a matte or glossy lip color.

Like always, this entire set is so detailed. I really like the special boys/girls desks. Also, the skybox that you can win in this set is amazing. It’s an entire classroom plus a school hallway. It’s huge and perfect if you wanna build your own school!
